Seller's comments about 1964' AC Cobra
Superb hand-built Cobra roadster by Backdraft. This specific Cobra started it’s life in sunshine Florida where it was produced and build to its actual specifications by Backdraft racing company.
At some point the car found it’s way to the UK before being sold to the continent. Currently the car is still in possession of its UK V5 registration.
The fiberglass body is painted in darkreflex silver metallic with matching darker grey Halibrand style wheels in 16 inch. The interior is very classic but suits beautifully with the silver exterior. A pair of black seats and dashboard gives it the original look along with its autometer retro style gauges. A wooden steering wheels finishes it.
As for the power unit, the Cobra is fitted with a 5. 8L V8 engine coupled to a 5 speed geardbox. For all those who think that the power this engine produces won’t be enough, well… think again because the this Cobra has been fitted with a nitrous injection system! To stop all this brutality you will find behind the wheels vented disc brakes in the front and solid disc brakes in the rear. Other futures on the car are the stainless steel side pipes, the driver’s side roll hoop, a pair of black harnesses, a K&N airfilter, twin radiator vents, etc…
