This is not your average DAX Cobra Kit Car, this little beauty has a magnificent Jaguar 5.3L V12, donated from a RARE Daimler Double six, married up to an Aston Martin Gearbox

Drives like a dream. Build quality if phenomenal.

Comes with Brand New wet weather gear, not that is is needed as she has been a fair weather girl all her life.

Cockpit cover also included.

Build Finished on 20th July 1990

Engine

Engine bay fully lined with aluminium. Fully rebuilt V12 injection, finished with nickel-plated bright work and black crinkle finish rocker covers. Remote oil filter thermostat and oil cooler, all connected with metal braided pipes. Air filters, radiator header tank etc. black epoxy coated.

Transmission

New (E' type flywheel and clutch with Aston Martin driven plate. Aston Martin 5 speed gearbox (ZF) to new prop-shaft Fully reconditioned Powerlok differential

(3.07:1 ratio). New half shaft UJs and wheel bearings. Clutch hydraulics filled with dot 5-silicon fluid.

Brakes

All new parts used. Copper brake pipes with Aeroquip flexible pipes. System filled with dot 5 silicon brake fluid (ensuring long life of system, and no need to change fluid due to water absorption). Suspension

Suspension

All new bushes, bearings, nuts and bolts and spring over adjustable dampers. All suspension parts were shot blasted and epoxy coated before assembly.


Steering

Standard Dax with black leather Motalita steering wheel.


Chassis/Body

Chassis has been Waxoil injected. Body is standard Dax with Old English White paintwork. Red leather interior, full Britax safety-harnesses, Jaguar V12 Series III instruments and XJS handbrake. The interior and boot are fully carpeted in matching red. A heater is fitted.

The wiring loom, lights, wipers etc. are all new, as is all the brightwork on the car. Group 1 immobiliser is fitted.

The exhaust is hand made in stainless steel and the petrol tank and mountings are black epoxy coated.

This car is in concours condition and cost in excess of £40.000 to build.
