Seller's comments about 1965' AC Cobra Shelby Cobra Replica
Sr. Owner downsizing his collection of "keepers". This Cobra Replica was built to a high standard for a physician in 1984 by Ron Ayers Classic Cobras in South Carolina. Unlike most, this is a "Gentleman's Cobra" in the sense that it does not have a roll-bar, but instead has fully functional windows and a working manual top. Physician didn't survive to enjoy this example, so it's a 2-owner car with current owner showing only 23k miles. Vehicle looks/runs flawlessly and is very detailed throughout. Owner has a "secret" start-button built in to deter theft. Wire Wheels are perfect. Engine is a 351 Cleveland Windsor Motor dressed like a 427 Engine appearance-wise. Owner just spent $2000.00 for new rear main seal and had automatic transmission seals, fluid & filter replaced. Fiberglass panels are perfect with no discernable damage. All panels are nicely aligned. Car looks, works, runs & drives as it should. No fluid leaks, unusual sounds etc. etc. With other high end examples commanding upwards of $50-$80k----------this is bargain priced at $42000.00. Owner is open to reasonable offer (key word "reasonable" please). Please direct any calls/inquiries to: Chris 615.979.3058 (USA)
