Capots Vintage, specialists in sports and collectible vehicles in Lyon, offer for sale a 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce:We present to you this magnificent 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce, an iconic Pininfarina‑signed roadster, embodying Italian elegance. Launched in 1966 under the name « Duetto », this model is distinguished by its elongated rear, known as « Coda Longa » (long tail), as opposed to the « Coda Tronca » (short tail) versions, which have a more angular line.As its Alfa Romeo certificate confirms, our Italian example was delivered new in France at the Parisian dealership on 18 October 1968. Matching Colors, it presents in its elegant Bianco colour with Red Skai upholstery. Guaranteeing its authenticity, its engine is also Matching Numbers. In addition, it comes with notable equipment such as a car radio, a kill switch and front fog lights.Restored with care, its bodywork was redone in 2013, while a new hood cover has been fitted recently. On the mechanical side, it benefited from a major service in 2023, including the replacement of camshafts, valves and the head gasket.
