Seller's comments about 1961' Alfa Romeo 2000 Sprint '61 CH6543
The Alfa Romeo 2000 was introduced at the Turin Motor Show in 1957, and produced from 1958 in sedan and cabriolet versions. A coupe version appeared in 1960. The 2000 succeeded the Alfa 1900 made from 1950 to 1959. Sedans and convertibles were designed by Touring, to whom Alfa had long been loyal. The coupes were designed by Bertone, and named Sprint coupés as was the tradition at Alfa Romeo. Production of the 2000 was 2800 sedans, 3400 Spider and 704 Sprint, the most sought-after version. Although production stopped in 1962, the Alfa 2000 was still built until 1969 by the Brazilian company F.N.M.
