Seller's comments about 1966' Alfa Romeo Giulia

- In very good condition throughout- Subject to a much restoration work including an extensive engine and gearbox rebuild- Offered with a sizeable history file- Matching numbers exampleFirst registered in 1966, this wonderful GTV was delivered new to Cyprus before being imported to the UK and registered to its current owner in 2014. Having spent much of its life in a hot, dry climate, the car’s condition has been well preserved. The Alfa was treated to a full respray in circa 2014 and has more recently benefited from considerable investment, with a clear focus on preserving its originality. Wherever possible, original components have been refurbished, alongside the use of correct new old stock or sympathetically restored period parts. The engine is the correct 00536 block and retains its proper Weber DCOE 27 carburettors, both of which were comprehensively rebuilt by respected specialist Andy Cattani of Classic & Race Ltd. Further mechanical and electrical work including the gearbox, suspension, braking system (retaining its correct Dunlop setup), and steering box has been carried out by marque specialist Andrew Thorogood, a recognised authority in classic Alfa Romeo engineering. As a result, the car performs strongly and reliably, offering a smooth yet characterful driving experience. Offered in very good overall condition, the paintwork retains a deep shine with only minimal blemishes, while the interior and engine bay are equally presentable. Accompanying the car is a sizeable history file including its current UK registration document, old Mot records, and a substantial collection of service and maintenance invoices. Altogether, this is a well-maintained and highly usable example of the Giulia Sprint GT Veloce, ready to be enjoyed. The full history file and more pictures can be sent by email on request – please contact a member of our team for details. This vehicle can be viewed in South West London.
