Seller's comments about 1960' Alfa Romeo Giulietta
This stunning 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300 is a PRESERVED CONDITION example of one of the most iconic post-war Italian coupés.
The car we propose is part of the second series, delivered new in Italy and registered for the first time in 1960 in Milan and subsequently in Bergamo in 1962, where it spent most of its life with the second owner, who kept it over the decades.
Finished in Bianco IBIS since 1990 (replacing the original azzuro Iseo), it maintains the interior in its original scheme of mixed grey/blue fabric and leather and the 3-spoke Bakelite steering wheel.
Mechanically, the Giulietta is functional, the 1.3 liter inline four-cylinder engine, the double-barrel SOLX carburettor and the 4-speed manual gearbox present no problems.
The car does not appear brand new, but it drives with the lively spirit that made the Giulietta one of the favorite cars of enthusiasts of its time.
