AIR CONDITIONING PREPARATION SUNROOF The Alfa Romeo GTV (code name 916) is a sports car with a coupe body produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Alfa Romeo from 1995 to 2004. The name GTV is the acronym for Gran Turismo Veloce and it is also called "GTV 916". The GTV's front end is aggressive, defined by its width and a large bonnet that encompasses the wheel arches, enhanced by the traditional V-shaped ribs that extend from the distinctive Alfa Romeo shield. The front light clusters are incorporated within the bonnet, revealing only the high and low beams; the headlight is actually a single unit, integral with the bodywork, but when the bonnet is lowered it is entirely covered by the bodywork. The tracks are wide, as are the fenders; the rear is characterised by a "truncated tail", a nod to Alfa Romeo sports cars of the past but also serving an aerodynamic function. The interior is distinctly reminiscent of Alfa Romeo sports cars of the past: the speedometer and rev counter are incorporated into "telescope" bezels, as are the secondary gauges located in the centre console.
