Alfa Rome Montreal - design icon par excellence with a legendary V8 engine The Alfa Romeo Montreal was designed by Marcello Gandini, Bertone's chief designer, as a concept study and first presented at the Expo in Montreal in 1967. Due to the great interest, the management decided to produce the sports coupe as a series vehicle. The V8 engine is a special feature. This comes from the Alfa Romeo Stradale 33, which was very successful in racing. The displacement was increased to 2.6 l and is characterized by very high elasticity. The Alfa Montreal was produced from 1970-1977 in a quantity of only 3,925 pieces and represents a very good investment with a great fun factor!Alfa Romeo Montreal in very good, well-maintained condition and classic color combinationThe very well-maintained Alfa Romeo Montreal offered here, first registered in 1976, is in very good condition and is a real gem. The classic color combination with an original Montreal color in gray metallic and a red interior made of fine leather gives this Montreal a wonderful appearance. Technically, the vehicle is also in very good and regularly maintained condition. This Alfa Montreal originally comes from Italy and came to Germany in the 1990s, where the first extensive restoration (engine, Spica injection, ignition, water pump, clutch, etc.) took place in 2006. The car came to Austria in 2007. A second restoration was commissioned by the new owner (complete disassembly and repainting, water pump, ignition, leather upholstery of the seats and interior, cavity wax sealing, etc.). As a result, the vehicle received the classic color combination of exterior color Montreal - original color gray metallic (AR 727), interior leather in red. The original color was orange metallic with a black fabric interior. In 2022, the rear wheel arches were repaired and the rims were completely reconditioned. Comprehensive photo documentation is available for all restorations and maintenance measures. There is no maintenance backlog.
