1947' Alvis TA14

The Alvis TA14 was produced from 1946 to 1950 and was essentially a pre-war design. The chassis is relatively lightweight, leaf springs and solid axles with rod brakes it lends itself as a basis for a lightweight two seater special.
Currently I have two on offer, chassis frames are generally sound but the brakes and kingpins and steering gear will no doubt need overhaul. Most importantly they both have curreny V5 documents so there will be no difficulties with the DVLA as regards identity.
Both have the remains of the old saloon body in situ, that may be of use for the project, or can be discarded.
I can also offer a choice of six cylinder Alvis engines, radiator grilles instuments and other parts which could make up a package deal.
The two available chassis are £1,800 apiece I have also added some example pictures of a chassis without the body and an example of what one could look like when finished just to give you a better idea of the possibilities.
