Brand: American Motors Corporation (AMC) - bought by Chrysler in 1987 Model: Hornet (1977), 4-door with trunk, sedan (see catalog: https://www.automobile-catalog.com/photo/1977/146480 /77453.html)1 owner in Poland, registration date: July 18, 2018. Cool short WE18 sheet metal (because it was registered in Poland "in the eighteenth year" ;)). Throughout the entire period of ownership (2018-2024), I kept the Hornet in a garage. It recently got a new, powerful battery. Very comfortable front and rear seats. Automatic gearbox. Beautiful body line, pleases the eye and attracts the attention of passers-by. A rarity on the road, it can be an element of the set design of films and music videos, photo sessions, or perform utilitarian functions, e.g. a wedding car (it appeared, among others, in Kraft magazine). Cars from this family (AMC Hornet) appeared in, among others, in the James Bond film series ("The Man with the Golden Gun") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCU8fVgGsPg (earlier model from 1974) and in the recent Netflix hit - "Stranger Things". The car is fully functional driving, I was one, among others in the Bieszczady Mountains and Masuria :) Despite the lack of power steering, it is very comfortable to drive. It has a number of defects, including: the Hornet badge has fallen off the hood (I have it preserved) and there is some work to be done for bodywork connoisseurs. The Hornet is a tough piece that will still cover many kilometers. It is looking for a new loving home (or rather a garage) that will give it another incarnation :) Available for purchase I am attaching imported from the USA: branded AMC keychain and a set of key molds. The car has an "old" VIN number (before standardization, which began in 1981) - E317348.
