First registered in Austria, family-owned since 1977. Some vehicles tell a story - this AMC Javelin is certainly one of them. An American pony car with an extraordinary history: first registered in Austria, with metric instruments and with the original Austrian type license. The first registration took place in Arlberg in 1974 - an unusual and attractive start for an American V8 classic. The Javelin has been in family ownership since 1977. It was even once passed down as a wedding gift within the family, which underlines the emotional significance of this vehicle. From 1999 the car was extensively redesigned, always taking care to preserve the character and substance of the original. The engine was optimized with Edelbrock components (carburettor, intake manifold, air filter, shorty headers/exhaust manifolds and valve covers), which means that the V8 not only sounds full of character, but also runs cleanly and reliably. Visually, the Javelin presents itself in authentic muscle car style: Magnum 500 style rims with Cooper White Letter tires (205/70 R14) underline the powerful line of the body. The decorative stripes are painted and give the vehicle a slight "racing" look. The interior is just as special: harmonious brown tones with fabric/leather covers in a corduroy look ensure a pleasant living room feeling. A highlight is the cockpit with its characteristic sliders on the steering column - a rare detail that immediately catches the eye. The original American Motors radio is also present.
