Seller's comments about 1938' Armstrong-Siddeley 14 Hp
Very low ownership (4) car as in storage for 50 years! Restored in 2003 with extensive works including:
Engine and gearbox completely overhauled Radiator recored New wiring loom fitted Ash frame repaired Interior trim sourced and/ or repaired New carpets fitted New headlining resprayed in original colour
Very little use over the last few years so some fettling likely to be needed. Last few months I have fitted new ignition system fitted inc sparkplugs & replacement choke mechanism. The car is running nicely but I wanted to fit new tyres before using more than a short run. She is unexpectedly for sale as my 1920s Sunbeams engine has decided to let go and the funds are needed to get this back up & running again.
Interior & coachwork are presentable but not perfect. I have been feeding the seats to retain the lovely patina. Some areas of corrosion on the bodywork, planned to just use it as it is!
Lovely family pre war, 6 cyl engine like a swiss watch
