1935 AUSTIN 12/ 4 ASCOT
Reg : GR 3112
Carefully stored for the last 40 years and lost in time, this Austin must have been the first model to have a boot to hold the spare wheel.
The car is beautifully original in all respects, but will require so renovation.
Our client has had the engine running.
Good oil pressure.
The original interior dark blue leather trim is good and full of charm,
spacious with foot stools for the rear passengers, and pull-down side screens.
All the doors and windows seem to work well.
The sunroof needs attention.
The mileage shown is 89, 000 and is probably correct.
With the owner from new 1935 till around 1965 and the second owner from 1965 till recent collection of the car.
It has the registration plate GR3112 which has been on this car since new, It would be transferable if required when the car is tested.
Will make a nice summer project.
