Seller's comments about 1932' Austin 7

The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced from 1923 until 1939. It was nicknamed the "Baby Austin" and was, at that time, one of the most popular cars produced for the British market. Its effect on the British market was similar to that of the Model T Ford in the US, replacing most other British economy cars of the early 1920s.This Austin 7 AH Tourer was first registered on the 9th July 1932 in London, in more recent times it has spent some time in West Sussex. The engine starts and runs very well, it sounds great and has good oil pressure. It has recently had a clutch overhaul, new coolant hoses and a new 6V battery. The drivetrain is in good order with no nasty noises, the clutch is smooth and the gears direct. It handles well and has new tyres all round. The body is in very good condition, the paintwork has been finished to a very high standard and although not immaculate it is very close. The interior was retrimmed during the restoration and remains in good condition, the hood was also replaced and comes complete with side screens. Not many AH tourers were made, and this car actually features in the Austin 7 source book. There is some online MOT history and we have the current V5.Please feel free to contact us for further information or to arrange a viewing - a walk around video is available that can be shared. We are happy to consider part exchange. Nationwide delivery available.
