The Speedex was last raced in the 1950s/1960s with the 750 motor club.
The engine has a nippy/speedy crankshaft and con rods fitted inch and half pressure type.
The nose is a Corley conversions pressure type aluminium sump, speedex cylinder head.
The block has been ported to a very high standard and larger inlet valves.
Race camshaft.
Twin SU Carbs with a steel tube extractor manifold.
The gear box is a 4 speed with close ratio gears fitted.
The rear axle is a ruby D type with a 5.25.1 ratio.
The rear suspensions flat springs, telescopic dampers and panhard arm.
The front suspension is twin spring Bowden type with telescopic dampers.
The steering is rack and pinion Minor 1000.
The brakes are hydraulic with Minor 1000 shoes and cylinders.
Wheels are 15" wires
Correct crossflow rad. Correct water pump driven from the cam.
Petrol tank is custom built.
Chassis has been modified.
Has a fitted tonneau cover as well
Wire wheels were restored by Peter Rees and fitted with new tyres.
Leaf springs both to the front Bowden set up and rears were restored by Brost Forge Ltd
