1935' Austin Ascot

FOR SALE: 1935 Austin 12/ 4 Ascot. I have owned 'Cherry' for 5 years now but feel it is time for someone else to look after her. History known from 1995 when restoration was carried out for use as a wedding car and resprayed red over black. There is a small amount of paperwork and photos for this and several manuals and parts books to add to this. Inside, the seats have been recovered, new door cards, carpets, roof lining and sun roof rebuilt. Brake shaft has been rebuilt with new bearings and journals and clean chassis members underneath. Engine shows signs of a rebuild, compression is very good and equal. I have had the carburetor rebuilt. New front tires 2/ 3 years ago. Voltage regulator checked over and adjusted by auto electrician. Trafficaters converted to flasher type with the bulbs in the front side lights and rear mounted on the bumper. The originals are in the door frames. New battery this year. Plus a selection of period tools in the under bonnet locker. Also included are a box of spares together with other assortments. All in all, an honest car, clean and a good runner, will give loads of fun for the next owner.
