This is probably the only chance to buy a unused set of aluminium panels and the running gear to build a Hamblin DeLuxe . The Austin chassis has been boxed and fitted with bowden type independant front suspension . The wheels are original Speedex cast aluminium . The engine and gearbox are Ruby and work correctly . The remote gear change is clever and works . The brakes are hydraulic but will need servicing . The steering column is long with a woodrim wheel and split track rod with central idler . The body has been test fitted so you can see what it will look like when it is finished . Any one who attended Historic Specials Day at Burford in the 90s will recognise this body as I took it there in various stages of assembly and it appeared on TV in Classic Cars programme . I will never be able to build it myself and if I did I would not be fit enough to get in and drive it so it needs a new enthusiast to take it on . It has a V5 . Price is negotiable .
