Austin Seven Mulliner Fabric Saloon. The bodywork was produced by Mulliners under the Weymann patents. It is fitted with the production Austin four piece bonnet, bulkhead and floor pressing. An ash frame was constructed and fabric was then utilised to cover this framework, with wadding underneath and finally dummy 'landeau irons' are fitted on the rear quarters. A split windscreen is fitted which is forward opening. The spare wheel is mounted on a production Austin fitting on the rear of the car to which the number plate is attached. Circular forward facing scuttle mounted ventilators, operated from inside the car, provide adequate interior fresh air to both the driver and passenger. The full height doors are mounted on three front hinges and are rear opening, with wind up window's. The rear side windows are split with the forward glass fixed and the rear section sliding forward to provide adequate rear interior ventilation. The body is covered in rexine with the bonnet in matching paint. The rest of the bodywork is painted brown. Upholstery is maroon leather re trimmed by Strong & Turton Ltd. Nickel plated window surround, door handles, landau irons, window catches, oil button, ignition and throttle levers, door pulls and scuttle ventilators. Switch panel Lucas type SM3, Smiths PA speedometer, oil button and horn. Dynamo CAV type DFL, cutout Lucas type CFI, 6v battery, ML magneto , scuitle mounted headlights and rear tail lights. Standard Austin 7 completely rebuilt engine. 1-years m.o.t and tax, drives beautifully.
