Designed by Alec Issigonis, presented to the public in 1959, the MINI is the result of a project so disruptive that it is still current today, serving as an inspiration for BMW to have seized the concept, to launch the new MINI generation.

In between, in the 60 years of existence of the iconic little big car, there are remarkable sporting successes and the unforgettable memories of millions of drivers who had the privilege of enjoying it.

With the rigor and mastery of the Artisans of Rusty Soul Garage – Specialists in Restoration and Preparation of Classic Minis – based on a 1970 Austin Mini Mklll, this project was started and took 3 years to complete.

From “A” to “Z”, EVERYTHING NEW… the first step was the total reconstruction of the bodywork, which after being properly treated, was covered in the beautiful Smoke grey.

The original 998 c.c. engine gave way to an engine "inherited from a Mini 1275 GT". This block 1275 (still standard), was submitted to the first rectification (020) getting 1293 c.c.

All internal wear components have been replaced with new, original material.

In the construction of this new power unit, originality and reliability were privileged.

In addition to a completely redone engine, all other mechanical equipment is new, namely the clutch; engine cooling system; exhaust; suspensions; direction; lighting; braking system, which includes an upgrade to install ventilated discs at the front and rear (drums are originally used).

Inside, too, everything is new and full of details; the seats, the door panel and dashboard coverings are elegantly upholstered in brown synthetic leather, the carpets and interior rugs in light beige contrast with the entire interior ambience.

Nothing was left to chance, the door and window opening control knobs are personalized with the John Cooper signature, as well as the beautiful steering wheel and gear lever.

The Speedometer with a speed scale of 210 km/h, (Cooper's) as well as the engine temperature and oil pressure gauges are new, as are the wooden panels that cover the dashboard.

The atmosphere on board is inspiring and passionate.

Finally, the exterior details reinforce the exclusive character of this project, with evidence for the prominent side wings that house the magnificent 13-inch rims.

The John Cooper signature chrome fuel cap and mirrors, or the Maniflow U.K. turn many heads, wherever this Mini goes.
