1951' Austin Fl1

This is an excellent example of the hard to find FL1 which was produced by Austin for hire car use with 4 doors rather than the 3 door version FX3 London Cab. Exactly the same vehicle with petrol engine, same chassis and interior as the classic taxi, with brown hide seating, the pop up seats face forward rather than flip down in the cab. The FX3 taxi is now selling for well in to the £15,000 bracket and here is an opportunity to pick up the same vehicle for almost half price.
I have known of several of these vehicles that have had the front n/s door removed, a divider fitted, a hire sign installed to then look exactly the same as the FX3, which it is underneath.
A superb example and un-messed about with, the car has had new brakes, tyres, exhaust,clutch, carburettor within the last 3 years and now needs a new home
