- Original Colours of Colorado Red, Black Interior
- Strengthened Chassis, Upgraded Engine
First registered 12th June 1957, chassis BN4 S 3741 is an original right-hand drive Austin Healey 100/6 delivered to London. The car to this day remains in its original colours of Colorado Red on Black interior with Red piping and features an original works hardtop as a very desirable addition, useful to extend your Healey driving season!
This car is presented with good paint featuring a deep shine, aluminium bonnet and boot, nice chrome and recently new wheels and tyres. The car drives beautifully owing to significant works carried out by the current owner with ourselves at significant expenditure including full chassis strengthening and optimisation, a complete suspension and braking overhaul. The engine has additionally been upgraded to three litres versus the original 2.6. The fuel tank is a upgraded 15 gallon FIA unit.
The car has a excellent aesthetic with its contrasting black original hardtop, bonnet pins, side exhaust and genuine Lucas spot and fog period lamps. Inside, the car has a removable roll cage, which still allows for the rear seats to be used for storage. The car also benefits from a map light, auxillary power source and Retrotrip meter.
We have known the car over twenty years, having serviced it every year with continuous improvement works over the last few decades. The service history paperwork details back to 1980. We have just hand crafted new rear seats and rear carpet for the car.
Provided serviced with British Motor Heritage Certificate of authenticity, original buff logbook, an excellent thick history file plus photographs of restoration and history.
