Capots Vintage, specialists in sports and classic cars in Lyon, offers for sale an Austin-Healey 100-6 BN4:Factory delivered on 23 February 1959 in Healey Blue with a navy blue interior, this is an Austin Healey 100/ 6 BN4 that we have for sale. Six-cylinder version of the “Hundred” model with the 3000 bodywork, the BN4’s engine featured a new exhaust manifold and a new cylinder head enabling improved performance and thus developing 117 horsepower (nearly identical to the Austin Healey 3000 BT7).Fully restored about twenty years ago, the bodywork of our car shows some patina with a few age-related flaws. Nevertheless, our car is very sound and has no trace of corrosion. The mechanicals and underpinnings (chassis, floors and sills) are in excellent condition (see photos).We have British Motor Heritage documentation confirming that our roadster is completely Matching Colors and Matching Numbers. Thus; body, engine and gearbox are original elements, as is the interior and exterior colour which was indeed the one delivered new in 1959.
