I have owned the car for 8 years and I purchased it from a man who restored it in the early 90's. He subsequently enjoyed several European tours and the car whilst it would not be described as concourse is nevertheless in excellent condition with a delightful patina. So far as I am aware no immediate work is required as I have constantly carried out various little jobs which invariably crop up and the main structure of the car is absolutely sound. The only major work I have carried out is to have the gear box completely rebuilt as I found one of the worn synchros rather irritating. The box now feels as new and the overdrive is especially smooth. The weather equipment is first class as is the full tonneau. The only item which can be considered an extra is the cleverly engineered luggage rack, it has been prepared in such a manner that no fixings have been made to bodywork and if necessary can easily be removed. All in all this is a pleasant driving experience which I have enjoyed over the last 8 years and is now for sale as I am intending to reorganise my small collection.
