Capots Vintage, specialists in sports and classic cars in Lyon, offer for sale a 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 BN7:First version of the Big Healey, our car was delivered new in January 1960. The Austin Healey BN7 two-seater model is rare as it was built for only 2 years and produced in only 2, 800 units.This car has been fully restored. Initially, a complete overhaul of the bodywork and upholstery between 2015 and 2016. Then in 2021, the mechanicals: the engine and gearbox were rebuilt by a specialist. Aesthetically this car is superb, its bi-tone red & black colour scheme perfectly complements the red interior with black piping, which is in excellent condition and “matching colours.” Its “matching numbers” engine, as attested by British Motor Heritage, has been completely rebuilt and runs on lead-free fuel. The road test we conducted confirmed the quality of the work carried out on this car, with a very good overall balance; the car features electronic ignition.
