Stunning 1964 Austin-Healey 3000 MKIII (RHD) with overdrive, matching numbers, heritage certificate and extensive history file with all invoices spanning the last 23 years. Restored in 2014, owned by us since then with substantial subsequent upgrades. As far as we are aware, this gorgeous Healey is in a unique colour scheme anywhere in the world - Honolulu Blue over Olde English white coachwork with Royal Blue mohair soft top, matching carpets and St James red hide piped interior. All of which are in excellent condition. Since restoration, she has always been dry stored, covered and well maintained by a professional vintage restoration & racing specialist. I can provide their contact details.

Upgrades and improvements focus on safety, reliability, performance and driving experience, including: uprated adjustable dampers, rear brake discs and callipers fitted in their place for better all-around stopping power, ‘Mallory’ distributor and modern electronic ignition, automatic Kenlowe water cooling system, WASP high torque starter motor and alternator for complete on the button reliability, TRA racing harnesses and desirable racing louvered bonnet. We retained the original painted wire wheels to promote that more authentic ‘period’ look but I can provide details for a highly competitive package of chrome wire wheels and tyres if helpful.

We’ve roared around the Cotswolds and the South of England, attended Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed every year, had the most incredible fun and met the most wonderful people thanks to this lovely car. Our 18 month old and 6 day old babies dictate our days of enjoying our lovely Healey are limited indeed from here on in though. So its time to pass her onto someone who will cherish and enjoy her as we did. Hopefully the asking price is quite attractive? Its significantly less than we’ve spent buying, upgrading and maintaining her. With the money you save and to make this a 60 to 70K Healey, the next owner could focus on improving the under bonnet look of the car.

You will be hard pushed to find a better, well-sorted driving example of this truly iconic 60s thoroughbred British sports car. Its one of the real legends and everything you ask of the car, it delivers and exceeds expectations. Of all the vintage/classics we’ve owned, this Healey is by far the most fun. But be prepared to get a lot of attention - we had many humorous and also quite touching experiences with people we encountered in this car. Located on the Surrey/Hampshire border.
