A very rare and incredibly original example of this most desirable last-series BJ8 version. Its Heritage Certificate confirms its manufacture on 24th June 1966 and despatch to SIDA-Milan on 21st July. One of only 234 left-hand drive European specification examples delivered in 1966. It has covered only 79, 000 kilometres and only 5, 000 kilometres in my over twenty-five years of ownership. It has been carefully garaged for much of its life which explains its state of preservation. The car had only two owners prior to myself - the first to 1974 and the second to 1993. All original chassis, panels and most of the interior. I have recently had the car bare-metal repainted in its original Healey Blue metallic finish and it retains its factory blue interior and Hood. Wooden dashboard recently re-furbished. I have a photographic record of the re-painting process which confirms the car's original and rust-free bodywork and chassis. The panel fits are therefore remain to factory-correct standard. An unusual opportunity for an enthusiast and collector to acquire such a wonderful original example.
