1949' Bentley Mark VI Mk Vi Mulliner Saloon

1949 Bentley Mk VI Mulliner Saloon, one of only 832 4.25 litre MKVIs fitted with coach built bodies. The beautiful H.J. Mulliner coachwork is finished in Royal Garnet , the interior, trimmed in grey leather piped in deep red and benefits from rear picnic tables and the original radio. The interior remains in extremely fine order having been re-trimmed to the highest standard. Invoiced on 9th December 1948 and delivered some two months later via Rippon Bros Ltd to Bradford businessman E.J. Birrell Esq, the MKVI's external appearance was heightened by a wing line that flowed seamlessly from front to back and rakish spats covering its rear wheels. Carrying its centre spotlight and additional driving lights, this handsome coach built Bentley is offered for sale with an extensive history file including many invoices for works carried out, many past MOT test certificates, copies of the original build records and original drivers handbook.
