1987' Bentley Turbo R

Bentley turbo r 1986
been dry stored for a few years but its lost its storage now and is outside, so decided to stick it on here
i bought it from a friend a few years ago with intetion of doing it up but havnt touched it .

""good points"" :: exellent engine, box, drivetrain etc, everything works, windows, locks etc , starts & drives and is very powerfull & smooth with good brakes etc, good solid strait car, no dents to the bodywork, good carpets, these cars are still rock bottom at the moment but will be worth a fortune in the future, (look at the price of most of them on here!) some history present

""bad points"" :: has just developed a fault since last week where the engine wont rev sometimes and pops & farts, (weak mixture) im told this is a module on the metering head needs replacing but im not gonna go there, it always starts first time and will drive ok on to a truck etc, headlamp surounds & mirors went missing but all lights work fine for mpt etc, seats are faded, wood is peeling laquer, rear screen cracked, a couple of rust holes nsr at the bottom of rear quarter under bumper, not structural for mot,.

the car had private plate that my friend wanted to keep, it now has an original d plate on it, new plates will have to be made up, original chassis plate and v5 present and will be filled out by new owner as required by law

i was going to keep the engine & box to use in another project and may still do this if it doesent sell, but it would be a shame to do that as too many have been broken already and these are iconic vehicles that will be worth a lot of money one day

so to sum up, its what i would call a mild restoration and doesent realy need that much to get back on the road, just someone willing to put the time in,
