Seller's comments about 1971' BMW 1600
National, in impeccable condition. Excellent quality restoration. “The BMW 1600-2 (the 2 meant 2 doors) were presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1966. From 1971 onwards, they were called 1602. With 85 horsepower, they had excellent handling and performance, in addition to great construction quality. In 1968, Road & Track magazine considered them “a great car for the price”. This first version is nowadays rare and highly sought after by collectors.”
