At the Geneva Motor Show in 1966, BMW presented the new “02” series, a resounding market success that became the epitome of the dynamic sports sedan. Between 1971 and 1974, “touring” featured a slightly shortened body, a hatchback and a tailgate – a much rarer version than the notchback variant.
The example presented here is a 2002 tii touring in “golf yellow” with a sports package (leather sports seats, aluminum rims and colored glazing). It was delivered to Holland in 1974, was in a collection there as a new car until 1977 and was registered there for the first time on September 28, 1977. Owned by a German collector, the vehicle was restored a few years ago with attention to detail, of which there is also photo documentation. The car comes with a comprehensive, positive report for obtaining the operating license (§21 StVZO, full acceptance) or a positive report for classifying the vehicle as a classic car (§23 StVZO) from DEKRA Germany, as well as contemporary documents from the manufacturer.

I would like to warmly invite you to view the vehicles on site. The vehicles are located in A-2460 Bruck an der Leitha and is halfway between Vienna and Bratislava, each about 25 km away. By car, our location is directly via the A4 motorway, exit Bruck/L. West can be reached very quickly. Arriving by plane is very easy via the international airport Vienna-Schwechat (Vienna Airport), only 20 km away, or via Bratislava Airport, 35 km away. We would also be happy to pick you up personally from one of the two airports.
