The BMW “New Six CS” (internal name of the E9 model) is a two-door coupé designed by “Karmann” in 1968.
The 2800 CS appears to replace the 2000 C and 2000 CS called the “New Class Coupé”.
The wheelbase and overall length have been increased to allow the engine compartment to be long enough to accommodate the new 'M30' inline six-cylinder engine. The front grille and headlights were also redesigned to make it more similar to the E3 sedan model.
The 2800 CS was also lighter and more performant than the previous «New Class Coupé», placing it on a very high performance level for the time.
This BMW 2800 CS is national, sold by «Francisco Batista Russo & Irmão», has all the books and manuals, 89,800 kilometers and is in excellent condition.
