Seller's comments about 1984' BMW 5 Series

Back in 1984 I left university and started my career in banking. My first boss had an E28 5 series and I well remember him 'instructing' me to drive some legal papers from Leicester to Birmingham 'carefully' in his brand new 528i . I had an MGB at the time and had never driven such an amazing car. Of course I didn't drive carefully. I wanted to see 'what'll it do Mr?' The answer was the 184bhp got down the road far more rapidly than anything I had ever driven to that point. In short I loved it and thrashed it to Birmingham and back including a significant overstep of the 70mph speed limit on the M6 motorway. Yes 100mph was easily achieved and I can still see the naughty grin on my face in the rear view mirror! So I have a sweet spot for these car and this one is a cracker. I am using it all the time so its 70400 miles at collection will be whatever it is when someone comes to buy it. This 528 is now MOT & Tax exempt and is also ULEZ exempt. The car has been restored by a renowned marque specialist following 11 years in dry store from 2003 to 2014 and has been significantly improved to make it an everyday useable car by subsequent custodians. Fast reliable and admired everywhere it goes the car is sold without fault and ready to be enjoyed as a show car or your everyday modern classic.
