It is highly regarded as a 'Gentleman's Express' and is a sought-after classic. The 635CSi featured a 3. 5-litre inline-six engine (M30/ M90), with later models (1988–1989) using the M30B35 engine.Early models produced around 218 hp, while later models with catalytic converters produced 211 hp (155 kW).It was available with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.Known for its 'shark nose' aggressive front styling, it was often equipped with BBS cross-spoke wheels and specialized front/ rear spoilers. This 1985 example starts and drives well, selecting all gears through the smooth auto-transmission. The brakes are in need of some attention but will bring the vehicle to a stop.In 'barn find' condition- the dust and debris are only superficial- this could be a very promising classic with some light recommissioning and proper valet. The panels and wheel arches look to be solid with some predictable under-body corrosion. Unsurprising for a 41 year old 635. A large history file file accompanies the vehicle.Mileage is showing as 132982.With less than 370 examples still on UK roads- this little sleeper, ripe for some restoration and recommisioning could prove a very good buy indeedEstimated at only £4000-6000This vehicle is located near Rugby, Warwickshire from where it will need to be collected.Motorscan report and videos available on request.Viewing is by appointment, please contact the office to arrange.
