SLJ Hackett are delighted to offer this 1953 Bristol 403 project. Upon inspection of the car, we can see that all of the hard and usually expensive work had been carried out by the late Bristol enthusiast owner Brian May. First registered 23rd October 1953 and delivered to a Mr Arthur Edwards of Brighton in it's original Black coachwork. Upon searching the DVLA website, NCD 700 (the original registration) is still recognised to belong to this 403. In the early 90's Brian purchased the car in a noted 'sorry state'. NCD 700 then joined the considerable que of other Bristol's that were in need of his specialist attention. Fast forward to 2016, roughly 20 years since purchase Brian began the restoration process with the complete car heading to a professional classic car coachwork restorer in Blockley who completely stripped the body with any repairs necessary carried out. Once the metal work had been attended to the new Blue paintwork was applied which we think is highly complementary to the Bristol 403's stunning lines. "One of the world's outstanding cars" John Bolster Autosport 1953 Brian had the leather upholstery sent to one of his trusted specialists who carried out a fantastic job. The Tan upholstery really is of the highest quality as seen in the photographs. We feel this is a really exciting project for anyone who is looking to restore one of Bristol's finest models to its former glory. For further details and to arrange viewings Contact SLJ Hackett
