Seller's comments about 1964' Buick Skylark

With great pain, after 15 years of beautiful moments together, the time has come to sell my Skowron. Buick Skylark Convertible from 1964. The car is in its original specification - both the engine and the gearbox (both after renovation). 300 cu.in. engine V8, two-speed automatic Super Turbine 300 - very popular in the USA in drag races (in first gear it reaches almost 100 km/h). Leather upholstery and roof in very good condition. The roof opens electrically, as well as the driver's seat and windows. Chrome-plated spoked wheels are mounted on a central screw. Mechanically, everything works as it should. An interesting fact is that the car has never seen America - it was produced in the GM factory in Bienne, Switzerland - so the clocks are scaled in km/h, not miles. Skowron from the Polish Grand Prix of Historic Vehicles rally in 2019 was stored in a heated garage. This year I finally decided to take it out, so the brakes went straight to repair because they were stuck. Unfortunately, during the service, worse news also came out - after 60 years of operation, Skowron demands specific intervention from a bodyworker. For everyday driving around the chimney there is no drama, but the rear mounts of the kennel to the frame have nothing to hold on to. The frame, however, is healthy. So I am offering it at a price that takes into account the necessary bodywork and painting work. The car is so unique that after the sheet metal and paint are restored, its value will certainly be six figures. Please write/call with any questions.
