1948 Cadillac Sixty-Two Sedan
This is the first post-war Cadillac model with a completely new body and the last model year with a Flathead V8 engine. Interestingly, during World War II, this Cadillac unit was used to power the M5-Stuart tank.
Cadillac 1948 was also the first in the history of the automotive industry to have tails on the rear fenders, which determined the design of the entire global automotive industry for many years. The style and shape of these tails were modeled on the two-fuselage P-38, a famous fighter of World War II.
The Cadillac is in completely original condition and has never been restored.
The paint on the entire body, interior with upholstery, carpet, headliner, trunk and all elements are original.
It has always been garaged, water has never poured into it, the entire bottom and chassis have been additionally maintained and secured, so it is very well preserved.
It is completely complete, there are no missing parts, even the factory jack and wheel wrench are preserved.

The V8-348 engine (5.7) is in very good condition, starts great, runs smoothly and quietly, does not smoke, does not heat up, maintains oil pressure.
Automatic, 4-speed Hydramatic gearbox, efficient, quiet, all positions work.
The brakes are functional, but require adjustment.
The suspension has no play, runs softly and smoothly.
The body is in excellent condition, the floors are completely rust-free.
The original patinated varnish only adds charm.
This exceptionally well-preserved copy should remain in its current condition, it does not need or even should not be renovated.
It is not perfect like it came from a factory or museum and shows signs of being 75 years old.
A car can only be original once!!!
The Cadillac is functional and drivable.
Purchased in the USA directly from the owner and imported to Poland in 2022.
