1950 Chevrolet Pick Up Truck
This Chevrolet Advance Design Series Truck is a tasteful Restomod that is equipped with a 216 cu in (3.5 L) I6, manual column sifter, and RWD. This truck has all of its original metal body and frame, no rust, and was very well maintained. As owner for over the last 12 years, the truck was updated from the factory 4.11:1 Rear Gear Ratio and replaced with 3.55:1 Gears for highway driving, and an updated 12 Volt electrical system was installed. Exterior updates features include a classic all medal sun visor, updated tires and wheels, and updated classic styling with polished stainless steel accessories that include the hubcaps, the mirrors, lights and front bumper and grille. The truck was repainted for an updated look and styling using Electric Metallic Green with the classic real wood bed inserts, and windows were tinted. The Interior was also updated with the classic Tan Leather for the seats and headliner, tan carpet was installed, and custom pin stripping on the dash. The suspension of the truck was updated with new shocks, improved sway bars, and a power coated rear-end. The top half of the 216 cu in engine was rebuilt and runs strong and very reliably. All nuts, bolts, washers, and anything with the option of having stainless steel was chosen to be installed for reliability and ease of care.
The truck comes with several parts that must go with purchasing. All original parts that were removed from the truck were cleaned and properly stored. A quick overview of the original and extra parts includes: original trim pieces, original wheels with factory hubcaps, original grille and bumper painted white, additional rear chrome bumper, painted rear valance panel, custom form fitting car cover and the original parts to the (dismantled) 261 cu in (4.3 L) I6 engine are all included. The original engine was removed with the plans of being completely rebuilt and reinstalled. The entire engine was cleaned, magnafluxed, and can be installed with the addition of only a few additional parts.
