Seller's comments about 1955' Chevrolet 3100

1955 was a big year for Chevrolet, introducing a new line of passenger cars as well as a handsome new line of Task Force Trucks that would become iconic. This cool 1955 Chevrolet 3100 long bed pickup truck is a restomod that attracts attention wherever it goes. Finished in classic red, the deep and glossy paint finish is accented beautifully with a gleaming chrome grill, headlight bezels, left and right mirrors and front and rear bumpers. The bed is beautiful as well with varnished wood planks and stainless-steel bed strips. Sitting low and rolling on 18-inch 5-spoke Billet Specialties wheels wrapped with performance radial tires staggered 245/40R18 front and 275/40ZR18 rear, it brings some attitude that draws you in for a closer look at this classic. The well-appointed interior features a comfortable red vinyl seat, black carpets and a custom retro 3-spoke steering wheel with a bowtie center cap. A red metal dash and red door panels with black metal inserts (that have never been cut for speakers), tinted glass, Vintage air conditioning controls and JBL Bluetooth adapter added to the steering column linked to a small subwoofer behind the seat offer comfort and convenience for the driver and passengers. 6-litre V8 engine Tremec five-speed manual transmission 18-inch Billet Specialties wheels Vintage air Holley high-rise intake Edelbrock carburetor Hedman headers Mustang ll front suspension Power steering Power front disc brakes Powering this truck is a late model 6.0-liter Chevrolet engine mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission to delivers back to a 1988 Monte Carlo rear axle assembly. The engine features a Holley high-rise intake manifold topped with an Edelbrock carburetor, Hedman headers, MSD ignition, power steering and Luminary aluminum radiator with electric fan. This truck handles great thanks to a Mustang ll type front suspension with tubular control arms, power front disc brakes and a rear sway bar. Classic Chevy good looks and modern power and conveniences combine to make this cool 1955 Chevrolet 3100 truck a fantastic restomod machine. Call today!
