Seller's comments about 1953' Chevrolet Bel Air

Plenty of custom attitude on the outside, a comfy A/C drivers seat on the inside, and proper V8 power under the hood all come together on this 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door sedan. So look over the details of a bold custom that loves to cruise. This is the kind of car where there was a lot of extra time working on the details. For example, the way they eliminated the front bumper, shaved the front end, and added a custom wide grille gives this the look of a gasser up front...except this way you dont need the front suspension raised to the sky. Much of the trim was eliminated, and so you really notice the brightwork that remains, especially on the sides where you have upgrades like faux lake pipes and 15-inch Torq Thrust wheels. Of course, the most striking part of the profile is the full-length stripe package with a custom wavelength design on the rear to show off those curvy back fenders. And the smooth rear end with a color-matched bumper allows you to focus on the thoughtful pinstriping and the sporty dual exhaust tips. All of this custom work is set against a bold orange body that strikes the right balance between an attention-grabbing gloss and an anytime-driver attitude. While the exterior is wild, the interior is absolutely comfy. You still have the bold orange of the exterior, but now it returns on places like the dash and tilt steering column. Now the majority of the interior is a tasteful two-tone gray tweed. Comfy seats, an AM/FM/CD/Aux input stereo, modern speakers, tinted windows, and cold-blowing air conditioning make this a terrific way to cruise the streets. The stock gauge cluster is still quite informative, but now youll notice its also surrounded by the right upgrades. You have a Grant GT steering wheel, a full set of AutoMeter auxiliary readouts below the dash, and an Auto Gage tachometer prominently mounted on top of the dash. The Bel Air name will always be associated with hot small block power. So while the V8 was still a few years away when this Chevy was new, it only seems fair that this custom gets a good one today. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8 upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers feeding a glasspack-style dual exhaust. There are other worthwhile upgrades, too, like the newer distributor, polished alternator, and an aluminum radiator. It all makes for a strong cruising motor, and its part of a strong cruising total package. This includes an updated independent front end, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and three-speed automatic transmission. This is a custom Bel Air built to be a cool and comfortable driver. So if you love enjoying your classic out on the road, thats exactly where this custom belongs. Call today!!!
