Seller's comments about 1955' Chevrolet Bel Air
This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air has been restored for those who love classic style but also true drivers. Everything from the paint to interior looks vintage but with a modern twist. After all, you didnt get this level of radiant luster in 55 and the interior was never cooled by A/C. And dont forget to check out the strong and shining V8 that makes this icon a terrific anytime driver. The trim tag tells us this was born a turquoise and white two-tone. So it carries the right style, but it utilizes modern colors for its own unique interpretation. So it just feels like theres a brighter glow to the white and a nice deep metallic element in the green. So it looks fantastic, and it also sets the tone for a car that likes to be traditional while also being vibrant and distinctive. This Bel Air has been under the same owners watchful eye for nearly 20 years. The paint and many of the details were done around the beginning of his ownership, and so the way they present today is more about a testament to proper respect and care. You see this level of reverence even in the little things, like clear glass and clean lights. A great total presentation also means awesome brightwork. The wraparound bumper, wide grille, and jet-inspired hood ornament put a shining face forward. And the detailed side trim divides the two-tone and shows off the quality of the sheet metal. And we love the shining machined trim rings around the competition-style torque thrust wheels that give this added shine while also showing off a true cruiser attitude. The green and white theme continues inside, and it makes for a tasteful style. Like the exterior, the restoration was all about getting the vintage vibe right with plenty of investment in the right upgrades. You see it in places like the vinyl bench seats that have the classic pattern, but everything feels far fresher than 1955. The door panels, carpeting dash, headliner, and even the trunk all handsomely coordinate. Its a thoughtful presentation right down to details, like the bright dash trim, working horn, and a dome light that greets you when the door opens. While this all looks great, the real point is to be a more comfortable cruiser thanks to well-integrated upgrades. This includes an AM/FM radio with newer speakers, color-coordinated seatbelts, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. Its also upgraded to be a better driver with thoughtfully placed pieces, like the tilt steering column, a full set of auxiliary gauges, and a tach. The engine bay likes to impress, too. Smooth inner walls, bright components, and an overall tidy setup make it ready to show off. Youll even like the details, like the finned valve covers painted turquoise to match the rest of the build. The small block V8 made the 55 Chevy famous and so this one pays tribute to that but also adds more power. Its a 350 cubic-inch V8, and we are told it was bored .30 over and now has a hotter cam. Plus, its further upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock performer intake, and ceramic-coated headers feeding the H-pipe dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. It makes for a great cruiser, especially with more upgrades like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, air shocks, a rear sway bar, power brakes, and front discs with new pads. This is the iconic classic that has a shining style, a comfy interior, and an awesomely solid drivers feel. It makes for an irresistible way to enjoy an icon to the fullest. Call today!!!
