This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is a tribute to a desirable hidden headlight Rally Sport, but it doesnt take long to see its so much more. The custom paint theme, four-on-the-floor, and growling big block power make this one an awesome power car. This is a first-year Camaro, and so it respects this history in the sharp-looking body lines. But this coupe especially loves to have the right custom flair. It starts with the front end that was upgraded to the hidden headlight RS style. And it makes sure this iconic piece is well featured up front with the bright grille and expertly deleted front bumper. The bright red paint was just laid down within the last year, and it has the kind of radiant shine that draws attention. Equally impressive is the custom silver stripe. Its a custom style for added distinction, and it gives this a muscle car tail stripe and highlights the upgraded cowl hood. Theres even a detailed black pinstripe separating the two colors. It has a truly sporty look thats enhanced by the Centerline drag wheels with meaty rear tires for added stance. But more than just powerful, youll also appreciate the overall curb appeal of this classic, right down to the clean drip rails. The black pinstripe is a preview of the full black interior. There are newer items like the seat covers, door panels, and carpeting. Even the dome light works. But where youll find the real appeal is how this feels like a proper drivers car. Front bucket seats, a classic/grippy steering wheel, added under dash gauges, and an upgraded Hurst shifter all engage your enthusiast senses. Your favorite upgrade of them all will be under the hood. A few lucky people got a 396ci big block from Chevrolet in 67, but this one goes beyond that with a 454 cubic-inch V8. Its enhanced further with a Demon four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and Hedman long tube headers. Plus, theres an upgraded cam that gives this a more aggressive nature and a terrific power tune from the dual exhaust. You even have nice details like the smooth painted inner fenders, good wiring, Milodon oil pan, and an aluminum radiator that tell you this build was done with care. The four-speed manual transmission gives you firm control over the big block power, and you have upgrades like a newer 10-bolt rear diff and a 3.42 Positraction rear for a confident all-around driver. Plus, disc brakes in the front and traction bars in the rear make for a solid driving package. This is a first-ever Camaro that has been upgraded to be more powerful, sharper, and plenty of fun.
