Seller's comments about 1966' Chevrolet C/K Truck

This 1966 Chevrolet C30 Dually is a cool dump bed hauler. It has led a genuine industrial life, but as you dig into the details, youll see that all your favorite pieces are newer and/or have been given solid investments. So if youre looking for genuine wood on the outside and cold-blowing A/C on the inside, this is your comfortable and interesting classic. Trucks like this are a true rarity on the classic market. After all, a C30 was built to be used up in a life of industrial duty, and so rarely do they get the proper care. Were told it was a warehouse truck in the south for many years before being sold into private hands and being fully restored. The factory-correct Glenwood Green has a glossy respray. This shows off the kind of clean body panels youd never expect on an industrial machine. And the way the white roof goes with the bumper and grille gives this an attractive two-tone. But what really grabs your attention is all the wood on the bed. This is a true stake-side truck. So you can choose to showcase all that lumber, or you can have a flatbed where the diamond plate steel floor is quite attractive, too. The dump bed feature is a newer addition, which means newer mechanicals and added functionality. In fact, this is full of commercial-grade useful features. There are large towing mirrors, a rear hitch, spotlights for the rear, and large side toolboxes. Plus, you have 8-lug Alcoa-style wheels with the dully set in the rear. So its not only fun for the car shows, but theres a true earned respect and a capability that will lend your business credibility just by putting its name on these doors. The interior has a clean look of proper care. The two-tone seat, loop carpeting, and overall clean style are elements youd want on any classic. And cold-blowing air conditioning is another one of those touches that keeps this one impressively useful and comfortable. You have the right vintage pieces, like the dual-spoke steering wheel and tall shifter. And additions like the power steering, auxiliary readouts, and large tach make this practical, too. Under the hood is a sharp-looking 350 cubic-inch V8. Theres plenty of polish to give it some style, but what youll really like is this motors substance. It has added power from a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, and shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust. And there are good supporting components, too, like a newer radiator, a newer proportioning valve on the brakes, and an upgraded distributor. The V8 fires up and runs with the feeling of a strong powerhouse. This is mated to a four-speed manual transmission with a useful low granny first gear to develop some serious low-end torque that knows how to move heavy loads. Its all part of the reminder that while this one looks like a cool classic, its also still quite a useful industrial machine. No matter if youre using this as a real hauler or just a rolling billboard, this is the ideal total package for those who like getting industrial-sized attention in a classic. Call today!!!
