Driven open, accompanied by the powerful V8 sound via a typical sidepipe exhaust system, every exit becomes a statement. Facts & technology This Chevrolet Corvette C2 Sting Ray Convertible from 1966 is for sale, equipped with the proven 5.4-liter V8 (327 cui). In conjunction with the Rochester Quadrajet carburettor, the newly built engine delivers approx. 300 hp with just 500 to 600 km mileage. Shifting is done in the classic way via a manual Muncie 4-speed gearbox, which fits perfectly with the sporty character of the vehicle. Body & Exterior After being imported from England, the Corvette was repainted in Austria in 2014. The current color "Rally Red" gives the vehicle a particularly striking presence (factory color originally Nassau Blue). As part of this, the windshield and the convertible top were also renewed.
