The Corvette which we are offering has great rarety value, being one of only 3 640 C1 cars produced in 1954. It is equipped with grilles over the headlights, a hardtop and an original radio. This attractive car is offered for sale in true “barn find condition” and needs a full restoration. Now painted yellow, the car originally had “Pennant Blue” bodywork. It was stored for very many years in a barn in America, before being imported into France in 2013. The condition of the body, chassis and interior are entirely consistent with this history and the car has acquired an inimitable patina. It is particularly suitable for restoration as the mechanics are simple and the plastic body does not suffer from corrosion. This beautiful car, so characteristic of the American spirit of the 1950’s, offers a rare opportunity to acquire one of the great myths of automobile history.
