Very early (built 1962 first registered 1963) Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray
No. 848 off the production line making it one of the earliest examples
Last owner 25 years
Original matching numbers car
Original 327 engine fitted with an upgraded 4-speed gearbox with Hurst shifter
Factory hard-top still with the car
Very original example, having never had the body removed from the car. Just repainted but everything else appears original and untouched.
Starts, runs and drives very well having benefitted from much recent expenditure since arriving in the UK this year including:
Gearbox rebuilt with new clutch ) All genuine parts sent from USA
Complete brake overhaul
Carb rebuilt
New exhaust silencers
New battery
Ignition overhaul including distributor & cap, leads, rotor arm, coil and plugs
Starter motor rebuilt
Plus much more.....
Now fully road legal, MOT'd and UK registered and ready for the new owner to hop in and enjoy!
