This 1972 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle has the upgraded paint and sporty style to be a great SS tribute. But theres a lot of fundamental classic appeal here, too, with the numbers-matching V8 and a history of preservation. It all gives you a distinct package for an iconic hardtop. Its easy to understand why you find this Chevelle so visually stunning. It was upgraded to the bold Veruca Violet just a few months ago. The clearcoat luster has a smooth look and a nice metallic element that loves the sunlight. So when combined with the mirror-like chrome bumpers, the full package radiates. If the color looks familiar, its because you likely saw it on the Bitchin Rides TV show. This utilizes the expensive paint approved by Kindig-it Designs. In fact, this one truly wants to look like a Kindig-it car with the hallmark flush-mounted spoon door handles. The whole package mixes sporty and premium. Its in the details, like the smooth cowl hood and the way the blackout SS grille coordinates with the vinyl roof. More than just a distinct look, this one has an interesting history. The consignor was told that this Chevy spent about a quarter-century in storage. So the panels are believed to be original, the odometer is believed to be accurate, and the mileage is low for this classic coupes age. The exterior black accents were also an introduction to the crisp black vinyl interior. Its quite a vintage setup with two wide rows of bench seats that let you spread out and get comfortable. There are nine details, like the newer headliner, smooth dash, and newer floor mats with Chevelle script. In fact, this one is so vintage, you have some cool details like the Delco AM/FM radio and factory air conditioning (they will need servicing to function again.) And nothing beats rolling down all the windows on this pillarless hardtop going for a drive. Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. These are a known hardy powerhouse that loves a good upgrade, and so this one has a Holly four-barrel carburetor and an Edelbrock Performer intake. There are also good supporting components like an HEI ignition and an Optima red top battery. The V8 fires up nicely as it makes a sweet sound out of the newer H-pipe dual exhaust. This is a strong driver thats also an easy cruiser thanks to features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, rear adjustable coilovers, and newer tires. Unique style meets the right vintage features all in this iconic Chevelle hardtop. Dont miss out, call today!
