Seller's comments about 1970' Chevrolet Monte Carlo

This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was made to live at the intersection of power and luxury. After all, Chevys premium personal coupe also has proper big block power under the hood. We like the look of the red on this one. Its an upgrade later in life, and so its the right mix of driver quality while also giving off a radiant style in the sunshine. Rally wheels and large dual exhaust tips give this right hardtop the right muscle car kind of style. But a Monte Carlo was made to be more of a premium machine than its Chevelle sibling, and so this one shows off the right upper-class kind of style in details like how the rocker trim has black stripes to go with the taut black vinyl roof. And the brightwork details are especially nice on the headlight bezels, fender trim, side mirrors, door handles, and around the Montes exclusive grille. And of course, the bumpers look terrific as they hug the car with their form-fitting style. Its always nice when the black vinyl top is also a preview of the full black interior. And a car like this has the size and comfort to share with family and friends. There is room for improvement for those who want a perfect classic cruiser, including adding a new radio. But what youll appreciate is quality in the fundamentals, like the upholstery, carpeting, and door panels. And this personal cruiser is set up to be a proper driver. Thats why you have front bucket seats, a center console in-between, dual-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column. The engine bay loves to show off the 454 cubic-inch V8 with the freshly painted block radiating within the dark engine bay. There are also more nice details like the polished air grabber, polished radiator panel, new alternator, and cast Chevrolet valve covers. The mighty big block inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and Hooker headers let this exhale with added power and authority into the dual exhaust. The big power has a stout but smooth setup that includes a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. Plus, you have power steering, power brakes w/front discs, and wide Cooper Cobra tires. Daring, powerful, and iconic - its hard to resist a hardtop like this. So its time to get this Monte Carlo in your garage. Call today!!!
