This 1971 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Tribute does a great job of honoring the tradition of a big block car in a lightweight package. But as you look over all the details, youll also see plenty of the right upgrades that really tell you this was a detailed and purposeful build. The Yenko legend should need no introduction. We all love it when someone takes the time to restore a quality classic as a proper tribute to the dealer who knew how to manipulate GMs system for the best in performance. And a Yenko car looks especially awesome in black. After all, big performance needs a dark attitude. It also makes for a great backdrop for the iconic white striping package. Not only do you get the classic racing stripes on the hood and trunk, but also the full-length Yenko S/C stripes were some of the most artful pieces to ever go on a muscle car. Plus, this has the right classic SS-style features like the bright hood vents, blackout grille, and Mag-style wheels. Inside the dark and speedy attitude continues. We love the detail work here, right down to the correct Yenko S/C logo headrests. Those who love these kinds of machines should get excited about this interior. It has the freshness of a serious investment. And while you expect this to have some luxuries deleted in the name of weight savings, this one does it with added class. You see it everywhere from the radio delete panel to the well-trimmed bucket seats. And because this is focused on the driver, you get great upgrades like the Grant sports steering wheel. And beyond that is a custom dash panel full of crisp Dolphin gauges. Under the hood begins the best upgrade of them all. It has a classic look of a big block stuffed in the engine bay, and you even have Yenko valve covers. Plus, theres a lot more upgrading here. For example, the fender callout may say 396, but this one is actually powered by a larger 454 cubic-inch big block. More than just added displacement, you have the enhancement of go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock performer intake, MSD ignition, and long tube headers that add power while contributing to the thunder of the dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit that knows how to handle this big power. And you have frame connectors and traction bars to keep this big torque in check. Add in front discs brakes and wide BF Goodrich T/As, and this is Nova that knows how to handle its powerful upgrades. Everywhere you look on this one, including the undercarriage photos, prove a recent and solid investment in quality. So you know you dont want to miss this midnight Yenko tribute. Call today!!!
