Chevrolet Silverado CK3500 3+3 Camper Special from the Oscar-winning film Brokeback Mountain
I am offering for sale an absolute automotive rarity and film memorabilia in one. The car was featured in the 2005 Oscar-winning film "Brokeback Mountain". He appears for 6 minutes in the 103rd minute of the film during the last meeting of the main characters in the mountains. I bought it in 2009 from a cowboy in Alberta, Canada, where the movie was shot and the seller rented the car to the film crew.
As you can see in the video, the car was in great condition, but after reaching Poland it underwent a thorough mechanical and bodywork inspection. Everything that needed attention was repaired: the sides of the box and the inside of the box were painted. The brake discs were replaced, the brake calipers were rebuilt, the brake lines and the brake master cylinder were replaced. It received 6 new tires, an alternator, spark plugs, wires, an ignition distributor cap, filters, etc. The car is powered by the original 454cui (7,440 cm3) V8 engine with a power of 215 HP and a Hydra-matic automatic transmission. Particularly noteworthy is the top Silverado trim (the richest), original upholstery in perfect condition, two 100-liter fuel tanks, period cassette radio, period CB radio (not connected), adjustable steering wheel, heavy duty brakes, new dual exhaust system with "glass packs" silencers with chrome tips. I am adding an original "camper top" to the car, i.e. a camping cover in perfect condition that matches the color of the car.
